Great insight Jim. Personally, I am very emotional. And it is okay. I hate it when someone tells me to feel less because 9/10 times they are downplaying my right to feel because they are often the trigger for how I am feeling or have no business commenting on the matter. For example, why would say lie to me and when I feel bad about it instead of apologizing you go, “Well, it was a little lie”… I think part of freedom is the right to feel as you like. Cheers.

I agree with you. I think what I keep trying to do is to at least give myself the right to feel, even if others don’t give it to me. I find that so often I start to internalize other people’s attitudes towards emotions and then almost adopt their desire to depress emotions, and then wonder why I feel emotionally depressed.
